Same-Differences Celebrates Diversity

Introduced in 2004 by Kim Luty, Same-Differences is a scrapbook and paper craft product line committed to representing the diversity in everyday living. Our debut sticker line, Everyday Kids, features "tween"/teenagers who happen to have disabilities. Our other lines feature older men and women who are active and enjoying their retirement years, ethnic diversity, people of all sizes and adults without children themed products. Everyday Phrases, our diecut phrase line, are accent pieces to use with our illustrated products or in any other way you please. We're thrilled to have doubled our product offerings for 2006, which include patterned papers, Straight to the Point ^TM Transparencies and Rub-ons, and Ready for You ^TM Paper Crafting Kits.

All our products are printed on 100% acid and lignin free materials. We believe in producing scrapbooking and paper crafting materials which are versatile for all sorts of projects.

The inspiration for Same Differences grew from realizing that the scrapbooking industry is lacking "diversity" products - populations such as the disabled, the elderly, and those who have different ethnicities, religions, and cultures. Scrapbooking is growing exponentially and products are becoming more accessible to people other than those who look for and visit their local scrapbooking store, if they even have scrapbooking stores in their area. Although the "big chain" craft stores certainly are catching up in offering scrapbooking products, it is impossible for them to offer such customized products.

Our product line shows characters with different "diversities" conducting typical life activities in a positive fashion. We treat the diversity issue as "no big deal", just a part of life. We hope that this company will meet the needs of these populations in a creative way.

We're thrilled to have been featured on DIY Scrapbooking and been listed in Memory Makers Top 50 issue in 2006! People have been taking note of our take on "reality scrapbooking" which is the principle our company was founded on right from the start.
