What's new with Lazar StudioWERX Inc and their paperWERX product line? Well...

PaperWERX is a division of Lazar Studiowerx Inc., featuring 12" x 12" Limited Edition, visually textured, vibrantly painted papers and die-cut embellishments that are 100% acid and lignin free. Created with the scrapbook and paper artist in mind, each paperWERX design is painted by hand on large canvasses, using a variety of mediums and techniques to create unique textures, layers and colour combinations. For the artist, it means that no two paper designs are ever duplicated and provides an exciting and artistic foundation for art. Each Limited Edition paper and die-cut embellishment collection will be available as long as supplies last, then retired to make way for new and exciting designs. In addition to their Limited Edition artist papers, the paperWERX product range includes a foundation collection of papers and die-cut embellishments.

The paperWERX productline has matured over the last six months to include four colour-rich collections featuring palettes of fresh, vibrant colour and unique, grungy textures. The current collections are: Vintage Rustic - a combination of earthy, terra cotta and rich teal papers with beautifully vintage inspired designs of antique white and taupe; FRESH! - a vivid, fresh grouping of pinks, yellows and red with chartreuse green, bright blue and white for a splash of Spring and youth; Big Kahuna - a tropical, vacation inspired collection of verdant greens and ocean blues, with tropical, coral and hibiscus hues; and NEW this Summer... metropolitan - an urban-riche collection of ranging in colour and texture from a luxurious tapestry to a urban graffiti wall. All the paper collections are completed with one or two matching die-cut tag embellishments.

This summer the paperWERX line is growing again to include three NEW products: rub-on transfers, fiberWERX coordinated fiber packs and Image Transfer Material.

To enhance their growing collections, the paperWERX line is introducing signature rub-on transfers called 'scribble and scratch'. This new collection of rub-on transfers are based on the hand-drawn alphabets and numbers of Christina Lazar-Schuler - President/Creative Director of Lazar StudioWERX Inc. Coming from a graphic design and architectural drafting background, Christina’s script styles will add fun hand-lettered flair to all your scrapbook journaling, page titles and handmade card designs.

Also new this summer, is the addition of fiberWERX by Timeless Touches™ - a unique fiber collection designed to coordinate with paperWERX™ handpainted, printed papers and die-cut tags. The fiberWERX embellishment fibers are made from quality, commercial-grade cotton, wool, silk, mohair, linen and rayon fibers, all of which are naturally acid-free and safe to use on all your paper arts and memory projects. Hand-picked to compliment and enhance your artistic paperWERX creations, fiberWERX will add the finishing touch to all your paper arts projects!

Lastly, Image Transfer Material will be officially debuting at CHA Summer 2005. This versatile product is a scrapbooker’s journaling dream come true. Simply create your journaling in a graphics or word program, print the text on the Image Transfer Material using a colour or b/w LASER printer (no inkjet!) then cut, peel and stick your personalized journal stickers onto your tags, layouts, cards and more! Beyond simple journal stickers, this product is also one of the best around for large 'packing tape' style image transfers. Imagine 8” x 10” image transfers for your scrapbook pages, without seams from overlapping tape... it's truly a wonderful and versatile product.

As a final note... did you know that Lazar StudioWERX Inc. got it's start as a rubberstamp company!? Designed and manufactured in-house, Lazar StudioWERX Inc's 'elements' line of rubberstamps are made of the finest materials; natural, deeply etched red rubber, industry standard cushioning, beautifully moulded Maple wood mounts and clear stamp index labels. All their stamps are hand pressed, hand assembled and are inspected carefully before being shipped. Quality control is king at Lazar StudioWERX Inc. in both product and process, and they are proud to be able to bring finely detailed, high quality stamps to the rubber stamp and paper arts market.

The 'elements' rubber stamp designs cover a wide variety of imagery while still maintaining their signature antique etched look and include architectural, botanical, collage, fine art and antique selections. Recently, the 'elements' line has expanded to include images the coordinate with the paperWERX product line and include many new "scrapbook" oriented designs and alphabets.
