FTC Vellum Pockets and Little Somethings

They’ve been known for years for their chalking templates and clear-sticker poems. Now FairyTale Creations (FTC) has done more than update their logo; they’ve added two fun new product lines to their collection. Little Somethings Rub-ons and Vellum Highlights are brand new and full of possibilities.

Little Somethings Rub-ons are themed sheets of black-and-white photographic images. They’re rub-on images, so you can use them on nearly any surface. Since they are black and white, they have a watermark feel to them, which makes them a subtle accent on your page. Add them to journaling blocks, borders, greeting cards, or even the front of an album.

Little Somethings can be chalked to tint them any color you desire to better coordinate with your layout design. Themed sheets include Antique, Baby, Beach, Boy, Christmas, Girl, Men, Pet, School, Sports, Wedding and Winter. Each themed sheet offers nine different graphic designs.

Vellum Highlights are another unique product that can add elegance and dimension to your pages. Eighteen themed sheets of vellum are printed with various sentiments in several fonts and designs. They make excellent frames, journaling blocks and accents on any themed page.

Attaching vellum is always an issue, since glue inevitably shows through the vellum. What makes the FTC Vellum Highlights so unique is the way they attach to a page. Printed right on the vellum are dotted lines that indicate where you can fold the vellum and attach the folded flaps to the page. Not only does this hide your adhesive, but it also creates a vellum pocket that can hold a tag filled with journaling, a photograph, or any type of memorabilia.

• Use large punches to punch frames into the vellum pockets, allowing a special portion of a photograph to be framed and highlighted.
• Tear the vellum and overlay the sentiment on top of a photograph.
• Use acrylic paint or chalks to paint the back side of the vellum sentiment to highlight the words with color.
• Add a Little Somethings rub-on as a graphic complement to the printed phrase.

Available themes include Autumn, Baby, Boy, Cards, Children, Christmas, Friends, Girl, Heritage, Love, Men, Dog, School, Nature, Wedding, Winter, Inspiration, and Pregnancy.
