I love the look of painted canvas. The textures and layers of color are fun to look at and they create such beautiful designs. That must be why I immediately fell in love with the new line of paperWERX papers from Lazar StudioWerx, Inc.

Known for an exceptional rubber stamp selection, Lazar StudioWerx has now expanded their product line to include papers and embellishments, namely the paperWERX collection. Christina Lazar-Schuler, Creative Director, has crafted this fantastic line of hand-painted papers in gorgeous colors and designs. Each 12” x 12” design is based on a hand-painted original, with no two patterns, textures or color combinations alike.

The paperWERX line of products consists of two collections of twenty-four 12” x 12” papers and die-cut embellishments.

The Vintage Rustica collection has a cool, metallic feel. Shades of turquoise, rusty brown and light gray are mixed together in stamped and painted designs to create these beautiful patterned papers. The darker papers are a great match for masculine pages while the light, subtle papers make excellent backdrops for heritage or baby pages.

The Fresh! collection features a rich, bright, saturated color scheme. Combinations of analogous colors create intriguing painted designs and give these papers a look of depth and texture. The Fresh! collection has a fun, energy-filled tone to it, and works wonderfully with summer- and teen-themed layouts.

Also included with each collection of papers is a set of coordinating die-cut embellishments in various shapes.

All paperWERX products are printed on acid- and lignin-free archival 70lb paper and 80lb cardstock. Each sheet of paper also includes a ½” grid on the back, making measuring for layouts and cards a breeze. Simply count off the lines and make your cuts.

Get ready for even more great things from the paperWERX line from Lazar StudioWerx. In the coming year they plan to add new paper designs each quarter, more embellishments, coordinated 6” x 6” paper pads, spiral-bound journals, and more!
