Product Review: Jillibean Soup Corrugated Kraft Alphabet

Occasionally a new product comes along that I consider a must-have item.  At the very least, it goes on my wish list.  The brand-new Jillibean Soup Corrugated Kraft Alphabet is one of those products for me!

Cardboard is a reusable material that many crafters are incorporating into their layouts, cards and projects.  Jillibean Soup recognized this and has now made it super easy for us to get our cardboard "fix."

The font for this alphabet is what I would call universal. I have found it to work for either gender.  I have also found that it works for many different themes, but I especially like how these alphas accent sports and fall/autumn layouts and projects.

Each package includes 87 die-cut non-adhesive pieces.  Because they are non-adhesive, you can really play with the placement of the alphas on your project.  The alpha pieces punch out very easily and have a neat, clean edge.

Another great thing about this alpha is that it instantly adds texture and dimension to your projects.  It can also be altered by inking, sanding, painting or adding stickles.  Any of these techniques can help pull a layout together and also make the alpha "pop" from the page.

In this layout, I inked the Jillibean Soup Corrugated Kraft Alphabet pieces and then also used foam adhesive on a few of the letters to get a layered look:
