Sugar Coating: A Doodlebug Designs Product Review
Do you love glitter? Does the word ‘sparkle' put a little skip in your heart? If you're all about the "bling" then you have to try Doodlebug Designs Sugar Coating Glitter and Stick With It Adhesive Transfers. This superfine glitter comes in delicious colors like rich chocolate brown and fun whimsical colors like raspberry pink, so there is something for everyone. With 12 colors in the assortment pack you'll be able to create hundreds of projects. Just a little bit of this glitter goes a long way. If you want a fast and easy way to add some sparkle to your projects then I highly suggest you try the Stick With It transfers. Precut shapes and words can be adhered to your project. Then you simply remove the top layer of waxy paper, and use a tiny amount of the glitter and you're all done! It's best to use your finger in a circular motion and rub the glitter onto the transfers; you'll get better coverage this way, and you won't have glitter falling off your layout when you move it around. I also suggest in investing in a Tidy Tray if you don't have one. These handy little trays have a funnel-type spout at one end, so you can pour your extra glitter right back in the bottle. You'll have much less waste this way, and clean up is a snap! Here is a layout I created using several colors of the Sugar Coating glitter and transfers from the Fancy That kit. Supplies: With a few of the leftover pieces I was able to create a feminine set of monogrammed cards that will be a very pretty gift for a dear friend. Supplies: I hope you'll give these fun new products a try. Glitter makes any layout more special. Try adding a little sparkle to your next birthday-, holiday-, or baby-themed layout to make it truly unique!
