The Crafter's Workshop

I’ve been extremely impressed with the products from Crafter’s Workshop. Their templates, papers and decorative trims are elegant, sophisticated, and classic—products that will never go out of style, which is nice in this ever-changing and highly “trendy” hobby we call scrapbooking.

AlphaBetter Lettering Templates

Crafter’s Workshop carries some of the most unique lettering templates that I’ve seen. Their AlphaBetter lettering templates feature styles from formal to funky to fun. I’ve had a wonderful time using them on a variety of different projects.

Why is AlphaBetter better?

• They’re perfect to take along to crops because you can create a type-face look for your titles and journaling without using a computer!


• You can use them to create a type face print on objects that can’t be run through a printer, such as embellished tags, metal-rimmed tags, etc.


• I used a Slick Writer pen (which is known for its ability to write on slick surfaces without smearing) on vellum with the templates to create titles on vellum that would not hold absorb regular printer ink.


• A printer can’t print in white or other light colors on dark paper. I used the AlphaBetter templates to guide my journaling on dark patterned paper using a white gel pen. The result was a type-face look…in white!


• There are over 20 designs to choose from in a variety of sizes from regular, AlphaBiggie, AlphaMini, and ExtraMini!

AlphaBetter Lettering Templates are simple, no-nonsense letters for scrapbooking. The regular size capital letters are about 1" high, the mini letters are about 3/8" high and the biggie letters are about 2.5" high. Also available now are the brand new ExtraMiniLetters which are only 1/4" high. (Try them with the new Magic Wand from Magic Scraps!)

PaperComplements

PaperComplements is the Crafter’s Workshop line of specialty papers. The subtle tone-on-tone design, printed on cardstock weight paper, melds perfectly with sophisticated stamping or scrapbooking projects. These papers are available in a swirled, sponged or speckled design and ribbed (textured) in both 8.5"x11" or 12"x12". The papers "complement" each other (hence the name) and mix & match beautifully. The printed papers also reverse to a solid paper on the back which makes them great for cardmaking, tearing, and double-mounting.

WordComplements

WordComplements is a soft and sophisticated tone-on-tone cardstock designed specifically for the discerning scrapbook artist. The text covered papers can be used in their entirety as a background, or merely as accents for the rest of your creation. Coordinating papers include the StarryComplements and BrushedComplements lines. The papers are of the highest quality and can be inked, chalked, stamped and torn.

Decorative Trims

Ribbon and suede trims are another fantastic product from Crafter’s Workshop. The elegant styles with detailed stitching and edging make wonderful additions to all types of scrapbook pages. Their Sueded and Leather Trims are perfect for outdoor or masculine themes. Tiny Gathered Ribbon might be perfect for that special little baby, and the overstitched Grosgrain ribbon adds just the right amount of finish to any project. You can also bend the various trims into photo corners, use them as frames around photos, or use them to add the perfect touch to an embellishment.
