Step-by-Step: Corner Bookmark
Making a corner bookmark is fun and fast. It also makes a great gift for a reader of any age! Let's look at how I made my corner bookmark.
Supplies: - BasicGrey magnetic disc
- patterned paper or cardstock
- flowers
- buttons
- rickrack
- stamps and ink
Instructions: - Cut a 3 1/4" square piece of patterned paper or cardstock.
- Fold the upper left- and right-hand corners to the center. This will be the front of your bookmark. Here is what it should look like:

- Close the seam with a strip of paper or with photo tabs. Hide the photo tabs or seam with a large flower or other embellishment. You will see I used a large flower, in the finished photo. Here you can see my seam closed with a strip of cardstock. I also added a bit of rickrack and rounded the corners.

- Adhere a BasicGrey magnetic disc to one of the lower corners. I have made these without the magnet, and the bookmarks tend to be heavy and fall off your page. The magnet keeps the bookmark from falling off.
- Turn over and embellish the back to complete!
Here you can see the front and back of my bookmark. Notice how the magnet is used on the page.

These are super easy and fast to make. Think of how many quick gifts you could make for family, friends, teachers, etc. Enjoy!
