A Scrapbook You Wear

When my mom was in high school she had a silver charm bracelet. She collected all sorts of charms that represented who she was and the things she did. She had a charm for the year she graduated, a megaphone, a cheerleader, and many others that helped express who she is. I used to think it was such a neat bracelet, and loved looking at all of the different charms. Well, years later, the charm bracelet craze is back, and now I’m collecting charms for my own charm bracelet.

As a scrapbooker, I enjoy putting photo albums together that tell a story. Each photo, journaling, and piece of memorabilia has a special meaning to me. By looking at them, it’s possible to put the pieces together to learn who I am and what my family is like. A charm bracelet can do the same thing. When you look down at your wrist, it is a great reminder of what you stand for and what is important in your life.
