I'm a storyteller/teacher who loves to use the medium of scrapping and paper arts as another way to tell stories, the stories of my husband Dick and my two teenage sons, Cooper and Taylor, the stories of my friendships, as well as the stories of my work and of the beautiful countryside in which I live, the upper Mississippi wetlands area of Wisconsin. I discovered scrapbooking while trying to find a way to organize and display my photos and memorabilia from a mission trip to Kenya in 1994, and I've been hooked ever since. I have been fortunate to travel around the globe each summer as a delegation leader for People to People, and truly enjoy the time spent shepherding thirty-some teenagers on our adventures, as well as the chance to take even more pictures. I have been featured in Memory Makers, Legacy, Creating Keepsakes, Scrap Tutor Volume One by Scrapjazz and Correspondence Art. I started out the year 2005 with an email informing me I’d been named as one of the Grassroots Originals, and am thrilled to be working with designs that seem made to order for me. |
