When I was younger my mother walked out of my life. When she left she took with her most of our family photographs and all of the memories from my childhood that only a mother could know. I will never know what my first words were, or what my favorite childhood toy was. While I was pregnant with my daughter Lucy, I vowed that I would record every important event of her life, so that she would never feel the loss that I have. This promise has kept me scrapping for four years.

When I began scrapbooking I lived in a very small town, and the only place I could purchase supplies was at our local discount store. There I was able to find many things to complete my first album, unfortunately the things I did find were not very inspiring or attractive. A year later we moved closer to Indianapolis, Indiana, where I discovered my first scrapbook store. At that moment my style completely changed and my focus became even more clear. Since that time I have been dedicated to preserving my memories in an attractive way that never distracts from the photograph or the memory.

I have been fortunate enough to have many wonderful opportunities to share my passion with others. I am currently a Design Team member for Scrapjazz.com, which allows me to play with the newest products in the industry and inspire others. I have also taught classes at my local scrapbook store ranging from beginner to advanced techniques. I have had layouts published by Simple Scrapbooks, Creating Keepsakes, PaperKuts, Memory Makers, Ivy Cottage, Paper Trends, Scrapbook Trends, and Scrapbooks Etc. I am honored to be a 2005 Memory Makers Masters finalist.
