I'm Nicole Barczak. I live in Jackson, Michigan and have been married to my high school sweetheart, Ryan, for almost 3 years. We have an infant son, Porter, and three goofy dogs. I recently graduated from Spring Arbor University with my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education/Elementary Education. At the moment I'm a stay at home mom, but will be joining the workforce this fall (2006) either as a teacher or substitute. I also have a deep passion for photography and can always be found with my camera nearby.

I began scrapping in high school for an English class project. We all had to create a Senior Scrapbook and each scrapbook page had to have a page of journaling along with it. From that point on, my love of scrapbooking blossomed. For a few years, I scrapped on and off- it wasn't an addiction at that point. But somewhere around 2002 I became obsessed, and haven't turned back yet. My husband has even built me my own scrapbook room/office in our basement. I love that through scrapbooking, I can capture and preserve our family's memories, photographs and stories for us to look back on.

I feel completely blessed to belong to the Blue Crew here on Scrapjazz. I've found so much inspiration, ideas, and friendship from Scrapjazz and I hope that I can give as much in return to the Scrapjazz community.
