I am a mother, wife, educator, boutique owner and avid scrapbooker. When I began scrapbooking just over a year ago, I had no idea that it would soon control my life! It is totally amazing how much I enjoy this craft. I was introduced to creative scrapbooking by my daughter, Shaniqua, and her constant encouragement means so much to me. Although she lives in Atlanta and I live in Houston, we scrap together via the internet. We love doing mother/daughter challenges, and sharing our layouts with each other.

Although I have more pictures to scrap than time to scrap them (who doesn’t?), I am not discouraged. It’s really my excuse to keep scrapping.

When I am not scrapbooking, I can usually be found on the message boards at Scrapjazz or surfing the net. I am a virtual traveler, always looking for places to go on a minute’s notice.

My day job is a high school guidance counselor. I have been a school counselor for 21 years. Prior to that, I taught English for four years. I have no pets, but I tolerate friend’s pet tales because they tolerate my grandchildren stories!

I have been married to the same man for more than half my life, and my husband dutifully compliments my craft work. He is a high school football coach and together we’ve gone to more football games than I care to remember. We enjoy traveling, family gatherings and holidays.

I am looking forward to working with the talented group of ladies on the Blue Crew. This is an honor and a challenge!
