Pros: It was small and light weight
Cons: Not very user friendly

You could not purchase the adapter to use the electrical outlet. Nah!

Pros: Sews well
Cons: A Pain in the neck to finish off your stiitches

I have seen many negative comments on this little machine, so I was expecting the worse! I have now used mine and had a great time, no needle breaking, sewed everything really well and I certainly will be using it for many more projects. The only peeve is that it is a little tricky pulling your paper away when you have finished sewing.

Pros: Portable, Inexpensive, Easy to Use
Cons: Hard to remove item from / Stitches pulling out

I ordered this machine, but to my disappointment, I saw many bad reviews on it while waiting for it to come in the mail. I really thought that I had paid for something I wouldn't like, and I wasn't going to be able to return it Sad HOWEVER, when it did arrive, I tried it out and fell in love with it! It's a great little machine for a small price. I love not having to drag out my regular sewing machine for small things. I've stitched fabric, paper, cardstock and plastic with it and it works great! Smile I recommend purchasing the AC adaptor for the machine, as you may use it so much you'll go through batteries like crazy! You can mail-order an adaptor from an online scrapbooking store if your local store doesn't carry them. Buying an adaptor at a store like Radio Shack might work (if you get the proper voltage), but at your own risk. Another option is rechargable batteries, so you can sew wherever you go! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PROS Thumbs Up! *small and portable (great for taking to scrapbooking events!) *VERY lightweight *uses standard bobbins (metal or plastic) so you can use what you already have *needs only one bobbin to stitch (unlike a sewing regular machine that needs spool and bobbin to create stitches) *uses any regular sewing thread *user can control the speed *can purchase inexpensive accessories such as a large thread set already on bobbins in a rainbow of colours, an AC adaptor, and an idea book *sews well through a number of layers of thin fabric, paper or plastic (great for making shakers and pockets!) *works well without thread to make perforations for hand stitching paper or plastic, or even just a perforated line in paper for decoration, or for making it easy to tear off (works great if you stitch in a square then tear off all edges to make your own little "postage stamps") ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CONS Thumbs Down! *uses a stitch that isn't "locked" - it pulls out easily if you don't tie it off right away (the instructions give you easy directions for knotting the thread and it works well, or run it through a Xyron machine to coat the back with adhesive - it won't pull out, and it will be ready to stick down) *sometimes it's difficult to get stitched item out of machine (the thread hooks on something inside the machine where the needle goes in to complete a stitch). When you pull too hard, your stitching will pull out, or if you're sewing paper or cardstock, the item could tear. The trick to taking out your stitching without damage is to just jiggle the stitched piece back and forth/forwards and back VERY GENTLY (after you've lifted up the needle and foot). The stitch will loosen from whatever it hooked on to. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Pros: Lightweight and compact
Cons: Tears paper and is difficult to use

This ripped my papers as if there was too much tension set. I ended up throwing it away. This was the worst purchases I have made.

Pros: compact
Cons: can only do little projects

If you want ot stitch in the middle of a page it cannot be done. Projects have to stay rather small.

Pros: compact
Cons: difficult to ajust speed, stitching unravels etc

I can' recommend it because I can't use it. While sewing my machine will punch holes but not sew them - so there's a line of stitching with one empty hole and thread just waiting to unravel with the slightest move. For some reason, I couldn't get batteries in it - they just didn't fit - so I had to get an adapter. I still can't get paper out without unravelling the stitching, because it almost inevitably gets stuck. The instructions say to 'ease up on the switch' to slow down the stitching - if this can be done I have yet to discover how.

Pros: its cute and lightweight
Cons: oi! if its not one thing its another!

I got suckered when I saw everyone with stitching on LO. I thought this tool would help me out but I think it just caused me more pain. First off, I couldn’t get the stitches to stay on the paper. Then there was a ‘leak’ of oil from the bottom feeder. I thought I had a defective one so I exchanged it for a new one. My theory was proven wrong by the same results from the new machine and I had to return it. Its really cute to look at but I can see it when I want to at the store.

Pros: cute
Cons: everything else

I just spent about 3 hours and had to throw away everything I attempted to do. The machine would sew for about one inch and then it quit looping on the bottom and the thread just popped right off the top. It did this from the beginning, but I figured I just needed to get used to it so I kept on trying. After about 30 attempts, I've given up and it's going in the garbage. Don't waste your money on this one, you'll be disappointed!

Pros: Small, inexpensive
Cons: Can't get it to sew my paper at all!

I was going to buy this machine when a friend told me not to, that she would give me hers because "it's a piece of crap that doesn't work"..... All I can say she was right!! Glad she spared me wasting $10 on it...
