Pros:
like the rotary cutting idea but...
Cons:
am looking for a new cutter again....
Now that I have gotten used to how to use this cutter, I am looking for a new one because it doesn't cut strait anymore. It can't be a used defect if I used to be able to cut strait. I have replaced the blades 2 times and the mat once and have only had it for about 5 months. It might be cheaper and les frusterating to use my 40% off at M's and buy a new Fiskers every few months.

Pros:
light weight & easy to travel with. a nice trimmer
Cons:
must change mat and blade often
I enjoy this trimmer alot but the blade and mat must be switched often or you will not get a straight cut. If your paper is uneven the cut will be uneven too. Its hard to get it to cut through textured papers(handmade papers). But if you can afford a dahle 507 or 550 I think you'll be happier with these trimmers. Okay for quick jobs.

Pros:

easily portable
Cons:

blade and mat wears too quickly,
I purchased this product apporximately 3 weeks ago. Already it will not cut straight and the blade is dull. I have to run the blade over my paper and photos 2-3 times to get a cut and then it is soft and looks almost torn. Would not recommend this product to people who are regular scrappers. I was very dissapointed because I love my cutter bee scissors and wouldn't trade them for the world. I was hoping that this cutter would have the same quality.

Pros:
very cute, cuts very straight
Cons:
it has a learning curve, mats need to be replaced
I had to use it quite a few times until I got the hang of it. Now that I know all it's secrets I would only trde it for one of those super big, heavy and expensive professional rotary trimmers, but I won't....
I like that the cuts are straight every time and the measurements are very easy to make with the ruler. Also I love the light green color.
The only con is that the mat has to be replaced, but you have four sides to use if you rotate it and flip it and they are under $3 so it's ok.
I like it a lot, get one!

Pros:

Cuts well
Cons:
I'm right handed and it seems to be made for lefty
I didn't like the position of the blade on this cutter. I'm right-handed and it seems that the blade should cut on the right side of the guide instead of the left. I always ended up using it upside down. I sold it 5 months after I bought it.

Cuts straight

Very thin cuts are difficult

I have been very happy with this trimmer. It does take some getting used to: You have to apply firm pressure to the blade, and I find it works best if I pull the blade toward me. I like that the cutting pad can be flipped and used 4 times. When I notice the cuts are not as "clean", I flip the pad and that usually does the trick. I also love the ruler at the top of the trimmer.

Pros:
portability, holds paper firmly, extended ruler to right of blade
Cons:
doesn't cut straight, 6" bend, doesn't cut thin strips, hard to read measurements
I was in love with this trimmer when I bought it 2 years ago but now I'm in the market again as it has quit cutting straight!!! Major problem for a perfectionist like me... If you don't scrap much though or subscribe to the "good enough" philosophy then it's fine. Even with a new blade, it doesn't get a sharp cut on photo paper. Still the best trimmer I've ever owned.
