This newly redesigned machine allows crafters to cut with a variety of dies from other manufacturers, as well as cut and emboss with Spellbinders Embossing and Cutting Dies. The machine is also capable of embossing any brass stencil as well as a variety of charms and other findings.
The Wizard Embossing and Die Cutting System includes two White Master Mats, a White Spacer Plate, a Tan Emboss Pad, and a Universal Cut Mat.

I love my pretty little Wizard! I've very little experience with die cutting machines - never owned one myself, wouldn't have thought of it, was never a huge die cut fan anyway. But I LOVE the way these things look embossed and even colored (using the detailed die as a template). SO much fun. No big deal with the 'sandwiches' and on their website there's an 'unofficial' users guide (I think the link says lucymcgoo?) that shows you how to emboss velvet, felt, leather, all kinds of stuff..plus ALL kinds of weird other stuff (pulverize candy canes to put in hot chocolate? That one's a bit out there...don't know if I'd put food in mine..but it DOES sound yummy.) I thought it was weird that the SJ review only had two positive features and so many negatives...one being keeping the master mats straight, when the directions clearly tell you how to label them so you don't get confused. Definitely recommend this machine! Sorry to the person who wanted everyone to give a negative, but I'm just not sure what I'd say that was negative. Well...I guess purple isn't my favorite color. I'd have preferred maybe royal blue or red. (Happy?)

I LOVE this machine. I just got it and LOVE IT! I have been playing all day and night long. It does way more then my other systems and works with my other systems dies. Weight and size is no issue. In fact I love the fact that this machine is made of metal and not plastic. I don't feel like it will break, it's definetly sturdy. The dies are spectacular. The detail in them is beautiful. This is a must have tool for any paper arts hobbiest!
This is the best buy out there.

As a creative arts teacher and paper artist, I've been using die cut machines for over 10 years--even before the personal ones came on the market. This Wizard is the cream of the crop! I like embossing, setting eyelets, cutting detailed images with their great dies and using all the other manufactur's dies I've collected in one machine!
