Description:

Ranger has expanded its Tim Holtz Distress line with 12 coordinating embossing powders. Designed to match our Distress Ink colors, these embossing powders have a special property that create a textured look of days gone by. After embossing, simply rub off the special release crystals. The effect is truly vintage...the texture is worn and weathered...the result is pure distress.

Cool stuff! Ends up with the texture of thick sandpaper. I'm not really into distressing things per se, but this is cool anyway, and would make awesome sand on a beach layout.
It's very cool how the ink underneath shows through a little, giving a different look depending on the ink color. And the basic quality is very good - it sticks to ink well, but easily comes off the rest of the paper, melts evenly (takes longer than normal powder though).
