Description: It is accurate, versatile and the paper doesn't slip because of the magnetic action of the arm. Cuts full 12 x 12 paper, perfect 6x6 size for cards and mini scrapbooks, and perfect 2" strips. This trimmer is light enough to travel and sturdy enough for big jobs. Spare cutting mats and blades available.

Pros: inexpensive, portable, rotary blade
Cons: slight learning curve

I bought this product just after it came out, and I really do love it. I use my Dahle 550 for cropping at home, but this is perfect for crops. I'll admit that I had to use it a few times before I really had the hang of it. You do have to apply more pressure to the blade than you do with the Fiskars trimmer, and that takes a little getting used to. Also, I've found that it cuts better when I pull the blade toward me instead of pushing it away. I would definitely recommend it because I always get straight cuts -- which was my big complaint with the Fiskars.

Pros: Cuts straight
Cons: color, hard to read ruler lines

I jumped on this right after it came out because I was so tired of the 'other' cutter, not giving me a straight cut. There is a slight learning curve for those who have never used a rotary trimmer, but other than that, you'll be cutting straight edges everytime!! I LOVE mine!!

Pros: Straight cuts most of the time...
Cons: learning curve, need to replace mat fairly often

This product cuts straight MOST of the time. The only problem I ever have is when I am trying to trim a very thin amount of paper off an edge... sometimes the paper shifts when I try to do that. Also, I had to learn how to use this - I found that if I put my thumb on the side screw of the cutting shuttle then the blade better follows the straight edge.

Pros: straight edge, no bowing in middle
Cons: bend in arm at 6 inches, no scoring blade attached

This is my current favorite cutter having getting too many bowed edges with my gray/orange (no name!) cutter. So, I do love this one, but the blades and cutting mat don't seem to last to long. I do get extremely straight cuts, though. For precision, this is the only cutter to buy. I also don't like the fact that you have to change the blade to score paper (which I do a lot of for card making). I still keep my old gray/orange fiskers one nearby with scoring blade in it. At least with the fiskers one, you could keep both the cutting and scoring blade in the track at the same time.

Pros: none
Cons: uses too many blades

I couldn't wait to get this new cutter when it first came out , thinking it would be so much nicer than my old Fiskar. First you really have to practice before you try to cut out anything important, and when cutting small or thin items they slip quite often I also find it is very annoying how you have to lift the whole cutting part up to add your paper or photos. I am really sorry I wasted my $25.00 on this cutter because it now just sits in a drawer. It also goes thru blades way to often.

Pros: Beautiful straight cut
Cons: None

I love this cutter. It doesn't move/slip/wander like Fiskars. It's a perfect straight cut every time. It does take a little more pressure but it's a full circular blade vs. a sliver of a blade. And the folding arm is great, since it has an edge to keep paper straight. I love mine and highly recommend it.

Pros: Easy to Change Cutting Blade
Cons: Cutting Pad Wears to Easily

I have used many cutters over the years and this one is my favorite for the money. Very portable and easy to use and change out cutting wheel. My only compliant is the cutting pad wears much sooner than it soon, but it is inexpensive to replace. Over all I am glad I purchased this product.

Pros: 6x6 corner
Cons: couldn't get it to work

i bought this and after spending an hour to put the blade on. it took me another hour to make a cut; then for ever cut after that i had to go over the paper 2 or 3 times.
