The Dahle 507 Rotary Trimmer is the preferred option for graphic designers, repro houses and photographers as it gives a burr-free cut. The rotary blade is housed in a plastic cover, thus ensuring absolute safety. The rotary blade is also self-sharpening due to its cutting action against the lower blade. This model makes it easy to cut paper, photographs and films accurately and precisely, with a ground circular blade that cuts in either direction. Interchangeable heads now allow choice of straight, perforated, wavy or zig-zag cuts!

It travels easy and I found it super duper safe around my 2yr son, unlike the Genesis Trimmer which has an exposed blade. It even cuts straighter then the Genesis did for me. The vendor from an ebay store shipped it to me within two days, I waited 8 months for the Genesis. It glides across the paper with ease. I would recommend it to any scrapper for good value.

Since my old trimmer (the Provo craft cheap one) broke I decided to get serious and buy a "real" trimmer, and I am impressed with this one. It cuts cleanly and smoothly each time and can cut multiple pages and even chipboard!!!
