Pros: cuts straighter than the older model
Cons: Doesn't cut consistently.

Mine will not cut for the top one inch, after that it is fine. I have to use it on something less than 12x12 paper.

Pros: lightweight, easy to use
Cons:

I heard from my lss that Fiskars was coming out with a new cutter. Relief, as I do like the design. I purchased one for $19.99 in December and so far it has consistently given good cuts. Hopefully it will hold up better than the older gray & orange version.

Pros: lightweight design and cuts great
Cons: none

I love this cutting tool! It is so much better than the old one Fiskar put out, and after a terrible time with another brand, it was nice to go back to a new and improved Fiskar.

Pros: big enough for 12x12
Cons: everything else

What a disapointment! Spent the extra money 'cause it looked so good...doesn't cut straiter than the old models, the blade wears out very quickly (and I've had trouble finding "triple track" replacements) BUT WORST OF ALL because the blade wobbles in the track, it gouged the plastic runner channel so now it can't EVER cut strait again. I'm done with Fiskars and am going to invest in a real cutter....

Pros: lightweight, cuts straight
Cons: none

I have this and love it. It cuts great! However I must give it a 9 because I don't THINK you can get prefferator and score blades to go on it.

Pros: works perfectly
Cons:

Works great! I've never had any problem with it. The measurements are nice and visible, the blade cuts very well and straight, it's easy to use. I love the fact that the blade has a little arrow in the middle so that you know exactly how far you're cutting.

Pros: Cuts nicely, good size, easy to handle.
Cons: Need more grid for accuracy.

While this trimmer does a nice job of cutting and is great to handle, I miss having a square grid for aligning smaller paper pieces. The only measurements are on the sides. What could Fiskars have been thinking??? If you only need to cut pieces that are 12" wide, then it's great as you can align it with the measurements on each side.

Pros: Nice cuts, good size
Cons: Missing grid

I bought this after reading some nice reviews, but it has gone into a deep, dark corner. It's just unuseable without some grids for aligning paper smaller than 12 x 12. It certainly was NOT designed by someone who actually does scrapbooking! If they could just put an overlay with a grid on it, it would be great but without it is hopeless.
