I use this tool the most of all my tools. I use it for cropping photos more than any thing else. It usually cuts cleanly but if you don't hold the photo with the plastic guard,next to the cuting arm, you will get a bad cut. It works really well when you want an irregular shaped item. I don't like the hole in the drawer because you can't keep small scraps in it.
For me this is an item I can't live without.

This is my favorite photo cropping tool. I love the drawer for holding small items like my coluzzle cutter, other CM cutting tools, scissors. It makes packing for a crop quicker and easier. I usually can even squeeze in the CM corner rounder. This is a must have tool.

arm doesn't lift high enough

I love this cutter but can't rate it a 10 as the arm does not lift high enough on the new model... so if you push your photo against the top (as you would with a paper trimmer), the new cut will not be perpendicular, as the arm gets in the way. The previous model did not have this problem. I wish the ruler had 1/8" markings, and I would also like to be able to measure & trim 7"x5" photos (not just 5"x7"). Nonetheless this is a tool I can't scrap without!
