I got the 8.5" one to replace my Fiskars cutter, and I love it!! It is a guillitone cutter, and it makes great straight cuts, and there is a grid all over the surface so it is easy to line up your corners and make sure you are getting the 90 angle. The guide/finger protector sometimes makes it harder to cut pieces less than an inch or two wide, but if you are careful, you can do it, just make sure you hold the protector tight to keep the paper in place as you slice.
