My all time favorite trimmer and trust me I have tried them all! I love that it is small, lightweight and that the refill blades are cheap.
I have found that I have to pull down on the blade instead of pushing up or I may get crooked cuts.

This was the first trimmer I ever bought. It worked fine for awhile but then I noticed that the ruler the blade sits on weakens after a lot of use and then the cut become crooked. I was extremely frustrated. Although it is very affordable...I feel you get what you pay for.

When at home I use a very large handle blade cutter, but I bought this one to take to crops. While I've enjoyed the compact size, I found that after time it has started to cut my paper slightly crooked. I think it will do in a jam, but I prefer my big cutter anyday.

I have this trimmer and love it. I have had some trouble with it cutting crooked, but the fact that it's so lightweight and easy to store has won me over. I bought a larger desktop trimmer and I find myself using this one instead because it fits on my desk with me while I work on a page. My advice is to replace the blade often, cut pulling towards you, and press the blade towards the inside when you cut to get the straightest cut.

I used this one for years and it did the trick. My only complaint was the fact that it would start cutting crooked which was a problem especially when I was making a photo mat. I had to change the blades often. I have not switched to the newer Fiskars and I love it much better. No crooked cuts.

I really was not happy with this product at all. I had it for many years as it was really the only choice for so long. I never got straight cuts. I actually tried 2 different trimmers, replaced blades often, and even called Fiskars for a replacement piece. Nothing worked. My cuts were always crooked, and I ended up wasting a lot of time trying to fix them.

Great for taking to crops as it is so light, but very frustrating for the fussy scrapper who wants their cuts straight!
I have upgraded to the Fiskars Rotary cutter and am MUCH happier with it!

This was the first trimmer that I bought, and had nothing but problems with it from the first cut. It never cut evenly for me, and even when using new blades, it won't cut through cardstock. I've learned tricks to make it work, but am shopping for a new trimmer.

I received my first cutter as a gift and noticed after several months it was not cutting straight. Michael's cheerfully gave me a new one and it was worse right from the start. After much frustration, finally switched over to the newly designed cutter (mine is purple) and so far am very happy with it.
