Bio: I live in a small rural mining community in Utah, where my husband of 15 years recently left the mines for safer employment. I am the mother of 3 sons from a previous marraige, and step-mother to 2 daughters. I am grandmother to two, a 7-yr-old girl and 1-yr-old boy. My baby boy, who is now 21, is the only one left at home and he ought to be flying the coop! I taught 8th grade English for several years, and also worked as a reporter for our local paper, where I got myself fired following 911 for writing an anti-war op ed. I'm a peace activist and political agitator. I currently work part-time as a class facilitator at the USU extension campus. I'm an insomniac who scrapbooks into the wee hours of the morning!

My sister is my best friend and we practically raised our kids together until her husband followed his career to Phoenix. She loves to shop for scrapbooking supplies, but doesn't scrapbook. Her solution was to give me all her supplies and pics! So that is why my neices and nephews are prominantly featured in my pages, since my pics were all up-to-date when I discovered this site, which has been a tremendous inspiration!
