Description: Journaling reads: We have been saving and planning a ten day Alaskan vacation to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in June 2011. We took an Alaskan cruise for our 25th anniversary and knew we wanted to visit Alaska again, but not via cruise, so we could see Alaska by land. Earlier this year I found out that all work vacations were frozen - no vacation from May 1 through September 31! I was very sad and not very happy when I heard that news. A few weeks after coming to realize we would more than likely not get to take a big vacation this year, we saw a special on television about the French Polynesian Islands of Bora Bora, Moorea and Tahiti. Both of our jaws dropped when we saw the beauty of the islands. It was at that moment we both agreed we'd continue saving through 2011 and book a DREAM vacation and travel to French Polynesia in 2012.
