Poor you!!! Boy do I remember those days. I thought my daughter would never learn how to fall asleep on her own!! It was awful to hear her cry, but everyone was right and the crying finally ceased. "Joy cometh in the morning". :)
I couldn't do it either...you are stronger than I was! We did finally get the boys out of our bed when they were about nine or ten, though! he he :) Glad everything worked out for you!
