I attended Scrap and Spa their "opening" weekend at new facility in June 2004. It was the worst scrapbooking experience ever. Their construction is not close to be completed including open eaves, exposed rafters and unfinished interior. It rained our first day and the humidity creeping in through the open eaves caused our paper to curl and warp. It got worse at night when all the insects decided they'd fly right in through those open eaves toward the pretty bright lights. The owners who were not on site, made a half-hearted attempt at apolgies and offered discounted rates. After I got home and thought about it more, they should not have charged us at all. Choose another retreat until they get this finished, but even then, I think there are better retreats out there.

I was there last weekend, and it still sucks. nothing has changed from your experience in June, right down to the owner's absence and the "hostess" lack of hospitality.
