Description: During one of my animal science classes we were put in charge of 4 of the university's mares through their delivery. We were in charge of their prenatal care and stayed in the barn to ensure a problem free delivery once close to their due dates. I learned a lot about equine pregnancy and delivery during this class- an experience that will last a life time. However, it was so rewarding to see all of our hard work pay off with beautiful healthy foals on the ground. All the long nights of sleeping in the barn and getting no sleep were forgotten and it was worth it.
I used the 'life documented' line from simple scrapbooks as the pps. I used chipboard tiles painted and embossed with the foal's names on each of the foals' pictures. I used a calender accent on the bottom of the layout to show the time of year this class was. TFL!
