Description: This is my 7-year-old niece Keilani with her 2nd grade teacher who inspired her to paint the watercolor of the the cat that she has hanging on her classroom wall as an end of year thank you gift. When her mom took it to the frame shop the owner was so impressed that he requested to feature Keilani as the artist of the month in his store window. In his 30 years of business he has only featured 1 other child artist - a 12-year-old. The interest was so great surrounding her art that the Phoenix newspaper did a feature story on her! (I apologize if you already read all this on my budding artist page.I just have to keep bragging! LOL!)

This LO was inspired by the very talented and much admired Peigirl. I used Cosmo Cricket's Love Notes - Together again pp and made my own flowers from the same collection with sunken treasure and prima morning glory blooms added. I stamped and cut out the bird and butterfly from my Little Yellow Bicycle elegant acrylic stamps.
