Description: My youngest daughter's very unusual name gets a lot of questions from people. No doubt as she grows she will wonder WHY she has such an unusual name. I made this layout for her to tell her how special she and her name are.
Usually people say “What?” when I tell them your name. You are likely to be asked many, many times in your life where your parents came up with a name like “Tikvah.” While we happen to think it is a beautiful name, it is yours because of its meaning. Tikvah is Hebrew for “Hope.” There was a reason I neeeded hope. It was a risk to attempt another pregnancy (I had lost one just a couple of months before.) Just the mere fact that I was over forty years of age added additional risk. Your father and I very much wanted another child, and felt it was worth the risk. HOPE summed up the whole pregnancy. I hope as you grow up that you will come to appreciate the unique and special name that we gave you and always be reminded that there is always reason to hope.
