Journalling reads: After several frenetic days at Disney World, it was nice to have a day where the only agenda was swimming and relaxing. After an afternoon in the waves, we dressed for dinner and took a walk along the beach (with plenty of stops for me to take pictures). Then it was off to a fabulously delicious dinner at Salt Rock Grill with our friends Phil and Janel. Phil was my pastor when I was a teenager, and we still stay in touch through my mom – and Facebook. It was nice to see them again and enjoy a meal together while we watched the boats cruise by on the sound. After dinner, there was time for another swim – this time in the pool overlooking the ocean. We were a bit disappointed in our hotel, but the view from our room couldn’t be beat as we watched a rainstorm blow in over the gulf. It was a quiet but lovely vacation day!
