Description: "to create a layout that you don't "plan out" but it takes shape organically. Stamp, ink, paint, mist-if you don't color on your hands at the end, you know you need to do more!!"
I found a "recipe" in a magazine for making faux snow out of embossing powder, white acrylic paint and PVA glue. It turned out like paste and I spread it using a piece of thick card. I also added some Stickles glitter to it, but that didn't work, the paint just covered the glitter. It is very 3D though, and I'm still picking bits of white off my fingers this morning!
This is also for COW#3: stencil (I die-cut the snowflakes and used the background as a stencil), colour-blocking, punch that isn't a circle or square (I created the chevrons using a photo-corner punch). The left sketch is from Creative Scrappers #243 and the right sketch is from a challenge on the UKS site. They aren't designed to go together at all but they kind of do.
