Description: My dad used to be a professional musician when I was a child growning up in Nashville. Recently he was asked to join a group of his old music pals for a tribute show for Bill Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass, who would have turned 100 this year. Jeff and I traveled up to Wilkesboro, NC to see dad play a great show with his bandmates, all fellow Bluegrass Boys. We had great seats onstage. It was the first time Jeff had every seen my dad play music and he was very impressed.
