Olivia’s afternoon preschool class was lucky to get a tour of the firehall this spring. One of the boys in her class, Euan’s dad is a fire fighter, so the kids had an “in”. It was a great tour. They showed the kids a fire safety video. One of the fire men got fully dressed in his gear to show the kids what to expect if they ever had a fire fighter come in for a fire. Each child also got to see the inside of a big fire engine and a chance to sit behind the wheel. It was a very interesting tour and the kids all had fun. I’m glad I got to go too!
