Description: This is my youngest DD's experience with Potty training. I am so glad it is over! I am pretty happy how the lo turned out. I used a stamp pad over the whole page, on the cardstock and the chipboard letters to add unity. I was even able to involve my oldest in stamping the letters.
The journaling reads: Potty training for Emma was a long road. At one. she became interested in the ptyy because big sis Libby was using the big girl potty. But after a few times on the potty, Emmy quickly lost interest. Daddy really wanted Emma to be potty trained but our stubborn, lovely girl would not have it. Grandma bought big girl undies for Emma's 2nd birthday to help out. Grammy worked with Emma on undressing and trying to go. The diaper fairy brought a "Good Job, Emma" incentive gift in the summer. We continues to give her 1 M&M for trying, 2 for pee-pee, and 4 for number 2. We got all of potty books to let Emma read. We even checked a few out and a video from the library. When Daddy went into the hospital for his second back surgery in 2007, the girls spent the weekend with Grammy and Pop-Pop. The weekend get-away seemed to do the trick. All of a sudden our big girl Emma was done with diapers!!! The diaper fairy finally came in October 2007 to bring Emma a Rose Cottage as a celebratory gift. We are so proud of our big girl.
