plastic dolphins came off of Lucy's ceiling, they glow in the dark.
First of all, let me start off by saying that the only way our family would happen into one million dollars is if we had some long lost rich uncle pass away and remember us in his will. We are not the kind of people who play the lottery or have huge investments. My teacher’s salary is definitely not going to make us rich, and Chris’ salary is good, but not that good. Even though we may never get a million dollars we love to play the “what if game,” so here are a few of our million dollar dreams…
We would build our custom dream home on at least four acres of wooded land. The home would have to have at least 3 porch swings and a wrap around front porch. Total cost $450, 000.00.
Now, you would not expect us to stick around during the construction mess would you? So, our family would pack up and head to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas for at least one month of the most intensive construction. While there, Lucy would get to swim with the resorts dolphins at least once a day and I would get daily massages from Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw. Total cost $100, 000.00.
Being the loving wife that I am, I would finally allow Chris to get a custom Harley built. Add that to the little red convertible and the Suburban for me and we are looking at spending at least another $150,000.00.
In order to look fabulous in a pair of black leather pants on the back of the new Harley I would get a little bit of plastic surgery done. Total cost, $100,000.00
That would quickly blow $800, 000.00 of our money, so at this point we would need to do a little investing to insure that over the course of our lives we could continue to live in the manner in which we would have become accustomed to.
TFL!
