Description:I know I'm completely crazy. I wanted to document nursing in some way, and this is what I came up with :)
Yep, that’s what I said!!! I NIP. Do you NIP? I’m proud to say I’ve attempted to nurse all three of my children. I nursed Andrew until I returned to work about 6 months. Emma, not so long, I had a one bout with mastitis and I was done after just 3 weeks. Tyler, well, Tyler is a different story. Tyler is 15 months and I’m now just starting to wean. I’ve been flamed from all sides, friends, family, even strangers. I get the constant “ Oh my gosh, you’re still nursing” . Heck some of my family wanted me to wean at 6 months. My goal was one year., I’ve made that goal (and then some) And to those that say “he shouldn’t be nursing”, gosh, relax, just cuz he hits one year doesn’t mean I have to cut the poor guy off. Tyler and I have our own schedule, and if it takes a few months to get him off the beloved boob, well that’s our prerogative. And kudos to you ladies that NIP, cuz I’m right there with yah.

That's funny. My daughter was 18 mos when I quite. ::blush::, but I knew a woman who's son was 5 when she quit! :^O She had planned all along to go that long- her reasoning had something to do with how long peopled nursed a couple hundred years ago or something.
I wasn't at all shy about nursing that long- but I do admit to thinking that lady I knew was a bit odd.
I love this LO so much!! and so inspiring to the rest of us "nippers" out there! My 3rd little guy is going to be a year next month and i am already hearing people talk and ask me like it's horrible "you are still nursing him?" i would like to wean but just can't seem to pull away from that bond! good luck with your weaning explerience and thanks for the awesome encouragement i got from your LO today! :)

I AM PUTTING THIS ON MY FAVORITES!!!!! this is the best lo! the subject, the lollipop bg, the title is to die for! YOU ROCK! You can tell your family that nursing is back and way cooler than the formula!
I am nursing my dd now and plan to for 1 year, that is what my ds did and he weaned himself! I love it, I love it, I love it!!! SO much easier than mixing a bottle at 4am!
beautiful lo and the title is FAB. I, too, was a nipper, just never knew it was called that. I have some photos and you've inspired me to get them out. My 2 are 4 & 5 now, but still... beautiful topic! and yeah YOU!
Awesome layout! I'm so impressed with your creativity and the subject. I nursed my 1st son until his 1st birthday and my 2nd son weaned at 16 months. Hoping I can find some pictures of me nursing so I can copy your fabulous idea! :) Great job!
I simply loved this topic and layout. I made it to 12 months with my youngest and honestly would have continued, if my work schedule hadn't contributed to my milk drying up.
You go girl!
