Description:My ultrasound pictures. Again, I used some odd colors for a baby book, but this combination really appealed to me somehow. I do realize the spacing on the title is a bit off... it was my first attempt at printing directly to the cardstock. ::: oops :::
The ribbon is from another of my baby shower gifts. I added the white strip beneath to give the ribbon a little more visibility. It doesn't look it in the scan, but the patterned paper is a lot more olive than beige, and there are flecks of white in it.
The journaling reads:
Of the many emotional moments during my pregnancy, my favorites had to be when I got to "see" your through my ultrasounds. I was lucky (or unlucky as the case was with my first) enough to have 3 ultrasounds. Each time, my heart felt like it was going to burst seeing your little heart beating, your little arms and legs shifting about, the shadow of your face...I cried every time. Seeing the proof that you were a living, growing child inside of me moved me in ways I can never explain. I had been waiting my entire life to be a mother, and now it was suddenly very REAL, and I loved you as though you had always been a part of my life.
TFL!!
