Description:I know that this doesn't usually happen here, but I'm asking anyway - no negative comments please. I am very nervous about posting this layout. It is the first of a new album I am starting to track my weight loss. It's sort of a different take on a weight loss journal. It may seem weird to start a scrapbook when I don't know that I will successfully lose weight, but I'm hoping I can inspire myself through the book to stay true to my plan. This is the first page, and the journalling reads:
I can’t believe the way I look. I was fat in high school, but lost so much weight before college that I was considered thin by most of my college friends. Now, two kids later, I seem to have yo-yoed back up to obese. I don’t need to look like a super model. But I need to look like me. I am ashamed to even have my photo taken, I am sick all the time, and I am DONE! Today is the day I say enough. I am going to lose weight and keep it off. Starting today, and with faith, hope and endurance, for the rest of my life. The person in these pictures is NOT ME!
It’s not where you’re born, it’s where you belong…
It’s not how weak,, but what will make you strong.

Thanks for looking, and here's hoping I can post steadily decreasing photos for the next year!
This is a great idea. I think that something like this would be motivating. I should do a page and track myself like this. You should be proud of yourself for trying to lose weight. TFS
Nora:)
Wow! What an amazing idea!!
I'm a believer in using anything that will work to motivate you!
I'm struggling with the weight/health issue too (who isn't?) and every day
I have to find something to motivate me to keep going.
You should be proud of yourself for facing your challenges head-on!!!
Great layout too, by the way. We all have pics like that where we say,
"who is that?" I'm inspired.
:up:Good Luck!!!
