Description: This is the second page of a 2 page layout. The first time I have ever posted here. I wanted a simple layout so that it wouldn't detract from the pics. I chose the purple colours for the simple fact that we don't know if the bub is a boy or a girl so wanted something colourful yet neutral (does that make sense? - probably not!). Let me know what you think, I'm still very new to scrapbooking!
The journalling actually says...
"We had several ultrasounds throughout the start of our pregnancy, but on the 2nd June 2003 we had our 19-week ultrasound.
This was the first time your dad had seen you; he sat glued to the screen trying to work out what the blobs were (it wasn’t until later that he figured some of it out) and to make sense of what the sonographer was doing.
But we got to watch you for a good half an hour but all you did was move your mouth a little. I even had to get up and walk around to see if you would move (which you didn’t!) and the sonographer made me roll from side to side to get a better view of your little spine (quite a mean feat, belly and all!).
Once it was over we had a video and some photos to keep, which your dad proudly showed to everyone! Both your Nanna and Grandma were wrapped, but Poppy thought you looked like an alien! We don’t think so, we think you’re lovely!"
