The file folder contains the details of the day: how nervous I felt when they took him into the OR, how families must feel that have to deal with major illnesses, how relieved I was to see his sweet face after the surgery, how he threw up on the way home from the anaesthetic (in and out on same day), how much weight he lost after because he didn\'t want to eat or take any pain medication, also his own recollection of the whole thing. Two of my kids had their tonsils out on the same day and I never thought to take a picture. My husband sat in one room with ds 15 and me with our daughter 10. I should go back and journal no pics. Funny story about the transporter smacking my sons bed into a wall, dd rolled over in recovery room and popped her butt in the air for the whole world to see(she had undies on).
