We all have them. You know, the things that either drive people nuts or make people love us in spite of them.
What are mine?
I am extremely opinionated. And I am one of those annoying creatures that give unsolicited advice. As I have gotten older I have found restraint but if I know you, watch out! It goes both ways, too. I don’t mind if people do it to me.
I am also sarcastic. Most of my sarcasm is harmless and is primarily aimed at myself. I am very good at making fun of my faults. I feel that I might as well bring them out into the open and laugh at them rather then have people talk about them behind my back.
I am very rigid. I plan my day and get very upset if something unexpected comes up. Yes, I know that is life but for some reason, I need to know what is happening in advance for me to feel secure.
I also have a few silly quirks:
I hate getting my feet wet. Not when I go swimming or am in the shower but when I am not supposed to get them wet. To go with this, I also hate being barefoot. I either have socks or shoes on at all times. I cannot stand feeling little pieces of dirt from the floor on the bottom of my feet!
When I go to a restaurant, I always look at the dessert menu first. Then I pick what I am going to eat so that I will have enough room for the dessert! I have a sweet tooth and if I am eating out, whey not indulge?
And the last quirk that I can reveal is that I never watch my TV shows live. I TIVO them so I don’t have to watch the commercials! This gets Chris so mad because then I spend hours monopolizing the TV “catching up!”
