Description:Ok, since the event, I will now be scrapping the photos I want and not chronologically! And I am telling the stories I want to tell. So freeing!
The title is covered chipboard letters that I used my new Technique Tuesday stamps on. Then I layered jewels on top of the design. I had so much fun playing! Thanks for looking!!!
Nora :)
Watching you swing at the park today was very bittersweet. You no longer need your mother to put you on the swing and push you. You won’t even let me give you an initial push, insisting that you are a big girl and can do it all by yourself.
I know that this is just one of many things that you no longer rely on me for. It helps free up some of my time but it saddens me. I see you slowly slipping out of my control, having your own opinions and being able to function independently without any help from me. How fast this time has gone! I only hope that as you grow that some of the things I have taught you stick. I hope that you always treat others with kindness, that you have a generous spirit and that you are assertive and go after what you want. I also wish that just a little piece of the child that you are remains. I want you to still be able to enjoy the small things in life that can make you smile…just like swinging did when you were almost 5.

Another great LO, Nora! Those photos are awesome, and the papers are perfect with her purple shirt. I almost thought these photos were of Alyssa (Monique's daughter) - they look a lot alike! I guess it's the curly hair :)
