Description: Another page done in my family album. Journaling: "Dare to Dream, Dad ~ of a happy and successful life in a new country. You were so determined after all your loss and heartache from World War 2 that we would set sail for a new life in Canada and one day you would have your own business. You dared to dream and that dream came true." In 1958 you got a Dairy Queen store and as kids we thought it was pretty cool. As we reached our teenage years cool turned to embarrassing when we had to dress up for special promotions like Wild West, Tropical Treat, and Circus Days. Pics from the 50's and 60's of my parents and brother. I'm too shy to include a photo of me in my grass skirt!
