Description:This is my LO for Luvthosek9s greeting card challenge. I was inspired by the colours on the card, and thought I could recreate the look by chalking cardstock. It is a photo of my friend Kelley and I at her 'surprise' wedding back in 1993. This one was a doozie to scan and stitch - those darn fibres just wouldn't stay still!
Here is the card:

Fibres from various balls of wool
Folk Heart paper shapers (punches) from EK Success
Font is Lindsay Black Dress
spray of flowers from Lincraft
background is chalked - I even rubbed bits out in the shape of flowers to match the card but it doesn't show up in the scan.
Journalling reads:
Kelley and Eric invited us to their engagement party, which was to be a casual BBQ at Halley Park in Moorabbin. After a while I noticed that I couldn't see Kelley anywhere. Someone told me that she had gone to buy some more drinks, as they had run out. Then the rumours started flying - Kelley and Eric were actually getting married ! No no, I protested, she wouldn't do that without telling me! Suddenly a hush fell over the crowd, followed by Ooohs and Aaahs - there was Kelley, in a beautiful white wedding gown, being escorted along the path by her father !
18th December, 1993
Oh how pretty and what a fun story.....she had a very original idea for a wedding...I love it!!!!! I really like the way you did the background and the tag looks great! Those white beaded flowers are perfect for a wedding page! Great job!
