Description: My dsd Katie's engagement announcement and wedding invitation and photo.
I used Tim Coffee pps and stickers that I have had in my stash for years, along with some Prima flowers and MS border punch, which I ruined 2 pieces of cs with because they were evidently too thick for the punch. It even gave me fits on the plain white cs. Has anyone else experience the same problem, and are the fisker punches better?
This one is so pretty too. the little watering can with the swirl of water comming out..very cute. I have one fiskers punch that does excately what you discribed. It was harder than heck to push too, It was like the cs was to thick.. so the next day I bought another one and it cut like a hot knife through butter, no effort, where as the other one I had to stand up and almost jump on the silly thing to get it to punch. Hubby looked at it and come to the conclusion that its slightly bent, but not bend enough to mangle a piece of paper but not good enough to punch out nice and clean. I don't use it anymore cause it ruins more paper than anything.
So take a really close look.. its really hard to tell but it will bend ever so slightly.
Anyway, this is another great layout!!
I have the same problem with the fiskers punch, I have to stand and put one hand on top the other to get it to cut and it's supposed to emboss also..but that is rare..I think I need to stand on it!
How beautiful! I have the Fiskers punches and they can be a big problem, too! I have to use all the force I have to cut through any cs at all! They must all be alike. One thing I did that seemed to help some was I cut through wax paper a few times. That did the trick and it did cut some easier for me. Try and see if that helps your punches.
