Description: While we saw much that is beautiful on our 4-wheeling outing in southern Utah, this yellow cactus in bloom against the red dirt was one of the most stunning. The colors in this photo are not enhanced. This is how they are in nature.
Because the picture is so beautiful, I kept the LO simple, choosing colors as stark in contrast as the lovely desert landscape, but just as complimentary. To emphasize the sharpness of the photo, and to maintain the integrity of the negative space, I used chalks with a stencil to add the soft subtly of vine and flowers in the background. The paper is K@Company "Hannah." I hand cut the letters and traced them with a black pen. The rub ons are Hambly and the flowers Prima morning Glory.
