Description: This is Paige at Primary Children's Hospital in SLC when she was 11-yrs-old and was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes after going into insulin shock. Her mother called me at work in a complete panic from the ER and asked me to drive her the 2 and one-half hours to SLC to the hospital after taking her to the ER here in Price. She had Paige, a 2-yr-old toddler and an infant, and was in no state of mind to handle the driving, so I left work and took them. It was one of the scariest days of my life! Paige is now a Soph in college in premed. So all turned out well. I left the circle blank for either Paige or her mom to journal this event from their perspective.
