Description:This is my day 20 LO for the LOAD Challenge. The photo was created by Apryl, a fellow jazzer (Thanks again). The photo is repeated on the vellum paper w/my journaling.
The journaling reads "My mom passed away unexpectedly in March '07 and occasionally I have my moments of missing her. Surprisingly, I handled the first holidays without her pretty well, but for some reason today, January 6, 2008 was a rough day for me.
This afternoon my hubby and I ran to the store and all the sudden I hear someone say "Hi, Kristi!" I look to see one of my mom's school friends (but I don't remember her name).
She asks how I'm doing and I told her I made it through my first Thanksgiving and Christmas without my mom. I also told her I was really missing my mom today and it was nice to run into her good friend.
She then says, "I'm so glad I ran into you! I have a picture that I'd like you to have of your mom, from our yearbook (from 1957). She pulls out a copy of picture of my mom when she was about 3 yrs old that had been put in the school's yearbook. It was so nice to have the picture because it was one that I don't have of my mom."
I thanked her and we both went along on our merry little way. Then I got to thinking, a few months earlier I was really missing my mom and I ran into another one of her school friends at different store.
It makes me wonder if mom is sending people my way to let me know that she is always with me, that I have my own personal angel."
