Description:Journaling strip are a poem called "The Snow" by Joseph Twing. They read: The snow is falling silently upon the frozen ground. It covers all the ugly scars that on this earth are found.
Journaling in square reads: The snow makes everything look so pretty. Even Daddy's old workshop look pretty when it's covered with the freshly fallen snow.
These photos were taken on January 19, 2008. We had a really short-lived, but beautiful snowfall that day.
Larger snowflakes are cut by hand. Then I added glitter and bling to them. I also added white "snow" and glitter to the snowman, trees, and tag. There are also some clear buttons and snowflakes added along the rick rack border. The "icicles" across the top of the larger pic are some I had bought to go with my Christmas village, but never used! TFL
Everytime I check your gallery, I find something I've missed before. I love layouts that depict a 'scene', especially when they are hand done. You are my kind of scrapper! I can't add you to my favorite artist list though. I did that ages ago!
wow, how I missed this one I don't know, but it is gorgeous! I mean seriously, this should be in magazines, books (and not just scrapbooks) really breathtaking!
What a beautiful layout. I marked this as "beautiful" on The Votes. Very deserving. I love the rustic and yet softness of this page. This belongs in a magazine. You might want to consider getting it published.
This is unbelievably beautiful!!!!! Wow!!! I love everything about this layout....the pics in b & w with the vintage looking border, the paper, the bling, and the snowflakes!!!! Wow!!!!!!! This is amazing! TFS!!
I VOTE THIS Beautiful !!! I LOVE the background paper--JUST PERFECT! LOVE the POEM! ...and the white backing on the pictures looks so nice. Love all the different types of snowflakes you used! I'm so jealous! SNIFF, SNIFF. STILL NO SNOW for us yet again this year! My DS has not been able to make a snow man but ONE time in his life and that was about 6 or 7 years ago.
